Principal's Update

Hello everyone.  June is here and so is Spring.  I hope you are doing well and your children are having positive experiences with our alternative learning. Heritage Hills Elementary continues to become closer to completion.  The building should be completed by mid June and then we will be able to begin the process of setting up furniture and all the things that go into a new school.  This will be a great deal of work but there is lots of excitement for the new school. On Wednesday, May 15th construction for our new playground was started.  At this time the work on the playground is in the process of preparing the site for the base of the playground.

Heritage Hills Elementary will open for the 2020 - 2021 school year and we are very excited to be working with you and your children.  We currently have 328 students registered in K - 6 for the English Program and 148 students registered in K - 6 for the French Immersion Program. In the past week we have secured a number of staff for both the English and French Immersion Programs.  We are in the staffing season and things can and will continue to change.  Over the next while we will establish classes and teaching assignments.  At this time we would like to welcome the following teaching staff to Heritage Hills Elementary.
