Our Fourth Annual Lunch on the Land

We have three days of our ABC Countdown left. From tug-o-wars to finding unusual facts, this week was another fun filled ABC Countdown. We also had an amazing time with FitSet Ninja. The students had a blast testing their ninja skills- climbing, swinging and balancing through the obstacles. A huge thank you to our parent group FAHHE for sponsoring such an amazing experience for all of our kids!

Today was such an amazing end to our week. Seeing all the students and families enjoying eating lunch in community outside on the land of our beautiful school was truly remarkable. The rain held out for us, and we had an amazing time with our fourth annual "Lunch on the Land" in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

ACTION

Library Books
If you have outstanding library books at home, please return them to the school as soon as possible. On Monday, check your student's backpack. If they have any books that are still out, they will have a printout of what still needs to be returned. For any outstanding books, a fine will be placed on the Parent Portal.

Report Cards
Report cards will be posted on Wednesday, June 25 at 3:30. You can view the final report cards on the Parent Portal to read about your child's learning this year.

Lost & Found
All the Lost & Found items have been on display in the foyer for over a week. Lots of items have been claimed, but there are still 2 full tables. These items will be donated after next week. We have been reminding students to take a look, but if you know you are missing something, please tell them to look for it.

OPPORTUNITY

School Supplies for 2025-26 School Year
Heritage Hills Families you can now order your child’s school supplies right through our official school supply company School Start  (they are delivered right to your house) or purchase them on your own using the lists provided. Meet the Teacher BBQ
For those families returning to HHE next year, save the date for our Meet the Teacher BBQ. It will be the day before school starts. On Wednesday, August 27, from 4:30-6:00 p.m., families are invited to come meet their teacher(s), bring their school supplies (then they don't have to haul them the next day), and enjoy the BBQ hosted by FAHHE. It will be a great kick off to the new school year!
